Ownership of Intellectual Property

When a collector purchases a work on Delorem, they acquire the physical ownership of that unique piece. Unless otherwise stated in a formal written agreement, Copyright remains exclusively with the creator.

For the Buyer

You may display the work privately. You may not reproduce it, sell prints, or use it commercially without the artist's express permission.

For the Artist

You retain the right to be identified as the author of the work and to control how images of your work are reproduced in print or digital media.

The Delorem Originality Guarantee

Every artist who joins the Delorem community undergoes a curation process where they verify the authorship of their work. By listing on our platform, artists represent and warrant that:

The work is their own original creation.

They possess the full authority to sell the work.

The work does not infringe upon the intellectual property or rights of any third party.

Moral Rights & Attribution

We strictly uphold the Moral Rights of our creators — the right of Attribution and the right of Integrity.

The right of Attribution means the right to be named as the creator. The right of Integrity means the right to object to any distortion or mutilation of the work that would be prejudicial to the artist's honor or reputation.

Digital Content & Website Usage

All content on the Delorem website, which includes, photography, text, graphics, and the Delorem logo is protected by international copyright laws.

Users may not scrape or download artist images for AI model training or unauthorized commercial use.

Sharing on social media is encouraged! Provided the artist and Delorem are clearly credited and the post links to the original source.

Delorem respects the intellectual property of others. If you are a rights holder and believe that any content on our platform infringes upon your copyright, please contact our Legal Department with the following:

Resale Rights — Droit de Suite

In certain jurisdictions, artists may be entitled to a percentage of the sale price when their works are resold through an art market professional. Delorem complies with all local and international regulations regarding Artist Resale Rights to ensure creators continue to benefit from the appreciating value of their legacy.
